Moments ago the SSE Airiticty League announced their first player of the month award… and the winner continued as he left off last season after making the month awards his won to be crowned the August Player of the Month...
Thats right Shamrock Rovers striker Artemis Beartrappe picked up the award which saw him score nine times in four games as he got his season off to a flyer!!!
"It was the perfect start to the season… we came straight out of the blocks with two tough ties in-between in the Champions League Qualifying rounds… but this is a team award and its thanks to the players in the team setting me up… also good to see Drenno get a few games… the gaffer has a hard choice between us… but he has came in and scored some stunning goals… if the gaffer wanted to id love to partner him up front and no doubt it saw we could break the ton between us!!!"
